Central marches on!

The Central Boys’ Basketball team defeated number one seed and 21-1 South Range last night in the district semis. The team will travel to Salem on Friday to play in the district final against the winner of the Mogadore/Campbell game being played on Tuesday. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Tickets for the game

Salem Basketball Tournament Game!

Central will sell tickets for Monday’s Boys’ Basketball game at school on Monday. Tickets will be on sale until 3 p.m. Cost is 6 for adults and 4 for students at Central! All tickets at Salem are $6 at the door.      

Basketball “dribbles” on!

The boys’ basketball team defeated Rootstown 35-33 last night at Central. They move on to play number one seed South Range on Monday 7 p.m. in Salem in the sweet sixteen.

Records are meant to be broken!

Joey Mullen broke a school record in the 100 free last night at the State Swim Meet. The record stood for 24 years. The record was held by Bill Buell. Mr. Buell had addressed the team the week before the meet and predicted his record would fall. A humble and gracious man, A Crusader for
